Excel Fundamentals - Not Just Beginners CE

This one day class was developed for those who are new to excel, for those wanting to update their skills, as well as for anyone who is self-taught. In this workshop you will create and edit workbooks that will help you save time and increase accuracy. You will also learn how to enter, edit and manipulate data, create time saving formulas and format Excel worksheets.   

Excel Level 2 -One Day Workshop

Course ID: CMEX 024 I18N01

Expand your skills by learning how to use Excel database capabilities, audit formulas and link formulas. Arrange multiple books and sheets while controlling data input, and create charts to communicate data visually. Suitable for use with Excel 2010/2013/2016 Windows Users. Prerequisite: Basic Excel and formula skills. 


Excel Level 3 - One Day Workshop

Course ID: CMEX 025 I18N01

In this one-day, advanced level workshop, you will gain hands-on experience with a number of Excel functions such as PivotTables and PivotCharts. Learn how to use slicers to summarize, analyze, explore, and present large amounts of data in a visual way. Create templates and add Vlookup and IF formulas to your repetoire. Suitable for Excel 2010/2013/2016 Windows users.

Human Anatomy & Physiology For Practical Nurses

Course ID: HHPN 001 TBD

An overview of structure and function of the human body, including various helath promotion strategies supporting optimal function. Topics include the disease transmission process and medical terminology relevant to normal human anatomy and physiology.

SAGE 50 Accounting Level 2

CMSA 020 TBD (Cowichan)

Building on the skills acquired in Level 1, this course deals with setting up data files, bank reconciliation, credit card usage, security, budgets, projects and extra inventory features. Also covers additional payroll features and foreign currencies. Textbook purchased separately.

Prerequisites: Simply Accounting Level 1 or equivalent experience.

6 Sessions: Tuesdays & Thursdays, January 9 - January 25; 6-9pm

QuickBooks Level 1

CMQM 030 TBD (Cowichan)

Learn QuickBooks and the fundamentals of accounting for small business for billing, generating estimates, collections, inventory management and payroll. Record daily transactions, avoid costly interest and payroll penalties, and deal effectively with GST/PST and Canada Revenue Agency. Learn to reduce audit and accounting costs. This course includes hands-on experience, review tests and spreadsheet submissions.  Textbook purchased separately.

Prerequisites: Computer Basics or equivalent, keyboarding skills, plus some experience in bookkeeping.

QuickBooks Level 2

CMQM 040 TBD (Cowichan)

Building on the skills acquired in Level 1, this course deals with creating new company files, bank reconciliation, credit & debit cards, security, budgets, managing inventory features. Also covers additional payroll features and foreign currencies. Textbook purchased separately.

Prerequisites: QuickBooks Level 1 or equivalent experience.

6 Sessions: Tuesdays & Thursdays, February 20 - March 8; 6-9pm
