Residential Building Maintenance Worker

Residential Building Maintenance Workers repair and maintain residential buildings (single family units, multi-units, and high rises). This work includes minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, refrigeration and roofing repairs, maintenance, installation, inspection, testing and troubleshooting. Residential Building Maintenance Workers perform these tasks in accordance with federal, provincial and local building codes and bylaws and BC Safety Authority Regulations.

Welder Foundation (formerly Level C)

The Welder Foundation program is 28-week introductory program that prepares learners for employment in the welding industry. This may include manufacturing, construction, transportation, mining, forestry, ship-building, and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Welder Foundation graduates can continue onto the 12 week Welder Fitter program and receive a Welder Fitter Certificate.
